Day 1Arrival in Paro and Transfer to Thimphu (65 kms / approx. 1.5 hours’ drive)

Welcome to the enchanting realm of Bhutan – the Himalayan Kingdom. Upon your arrival at Paro Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to Thimphu, the vibrant capital city of Bhutan. Check-in to your hotel and take some time to relax. Explore the city at your own pace and immerse yourself in the captivating blend of tradition and modernity. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 2Exploring Thimphu

After a delicious breakfast, set out to discover the charm of Thimphu. Visit the Handicraft Emporium, where skilled artisans showcase their traditional Bhutanese crafts. Explore a local paper factory and witness the meticulous process of creating handmade paper. Pay homage at the National Memorial Chorten, a revered monument dedicated to the late Third King of Bhutan. Marvel at the grandeur of the Buddha statue and take a leisurely stroll through the serene Centenary Park. Indulge in some shopping and bring home unique Bhutanese souvenirs. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 3Journey to Punakha (77 kms / approx. 2.5 hours’ drive)

After a delightful breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Punakha, a valley renowned for its breathtaking beauty. En route, pass through Dochula Pass and pause to admire the magnificent Druk Wangyal Chorten, offering panoramic vistas of the majestic Himalayan Mountain range. Continue your journey to Punakha, with a stop at Lamperi to explore the serene Royal Botanical Park. Take a short walk to the revered Chimi Lhakhang temple and soak in its spiritual ambiance. Day 4Onward to Paro (142 kms / approx. 4 hours’ drive)

After a hearty breakfast, proceed to Paro, a picturesque valley nestled amidst the mountains. Enchant yourself with a visit to Paro Dzong, perched on a rocky outcrop overlooking the valley. Delve into the history as you explore the ancient ruins of Drukgyel Dzong, a fortress that once guarded the Bhutanese border. Day 5Trek to Tiger's Nest and Discover Kyichu Lhakhang

After a nourishing breakfast, embark on an exhilarating hike to the renowned Tiger’s Nest, also known as Taktsang Monastery. This sacred site clings to a sheer cliff, offering awe-inspiring views and a deeply spiritual experience. Legend has it that Guru Rinpoche, the founder of Bhutanese Buddhism, meditated here. Day 6Departure from Paro
